Mothers - verbatim performance
The verbatim performance "Mothers" presents personal stories of several newly born women in the hospital room waiting to bring their babies to breastfeed. Artistic curiosity has been made at the time of the emergence of new life and new man - a moment of mysticism, celebration, pain, fear, a moment of collective effort expected, great - quintessence of our biological existence.
"Mothers" is a refutation of the established attitude that childbirth is a shame that a medical condition, or not enough "aesthetic" to be the subject of art. Four established young actresses (Nevena Kaludova, Mila Bancheva, Lina Zlateva, Nadezhda Panajotova), each of which soon became a mother, present the stories of women who have undergone the mystery of birth in the great metamorphosis of motherhood.
