The Swedish photographer Åke Ericson participates in the Month of Photography 2016 with the collection ‘Roma in Europe’. The exhibition is presented with the support of the Swedish Arts Committee, the Church of Sweden and the Fritt Ord Foundation, Norway.

The project includes photographs documenting the everyday life of Roma in extremely discriminated and criminalised regions, as well as the members of these minorities living, working, educating themselves, or being integrated into European society as citizens equal in rights.
