The last opera of W.A. Mozart's "Magic Flute" is a masterpiece not leaving the opera scenes for years. It was first shown in Vienna on September 30, 1791, with participation of the composer as conductor and passed with great success. Goethe highly appreciates  the opera and told that it was an "utopian and strange tale in which human virtues preached love, hardworking, moral perfection."
